Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s White House counselor and devoted propagandist, appeared on CNN this morning to spew her usual filth as damage control for the administration in the wake of the damning interview of former FBI Director James Comey that aired Sunday night.
During his televised conversation with George Stephanopoulos, Comey claimed that Donald Trump is “morally unfit” to be president. While most Americans would agree with that sentiment, it’s still a shocking thing for a former FBI Director to say. Not surprisingly, the White House is less than pleased.
.@GStephanopoulos: “Is Donald Trump unfit to be president?”
@Comey: “Yes, but not in the way I often hear people talk about it…I don't think he's medically unfit to be president. I think he's morally unfit to be president.” https://t.co/nzGYlTmLXf #Comey pic.twitter.com/4eag9flFZ2

What started out as a civil conversation between anchor Chris Cuomo and Conway soon devolved into a barely-restrained confrontation. She accused Comey of practicing “revisionist history,” a curious statement coming from the woman who coined the odious phrase “alternative facts.”
Cuomo listened to her rant with a look of mixed confusion and aversion as Conway made the ludicrous statement that the FBI was corrupted by pro-Clinton forces at the highest level, this despite the fact that the lead agents were largely Republicans.
Cuomo shot back, quickly shredding her talking points and pointing out the illogical argument that Comey was working to help Clinton win when in reality his announcement that the FBI was reopening the investigation into the Democratic nominee is seen by many as a major contributing factor in Clinton’s defeat.
From there, the conversation went rapidly downhill as Cuomo and Conway got more openly hostile and interrupted each other back and forth. Each time she would trot out a new lie, Cuomo pounced, quickly shredding her bad faith arguments.
